hi there.
Firstly I would like to say a big HI to all out here. This is my first post here.
Already feeling nice about being a part of such a big forum...
Anyways flying to the topic.
I have a Power Mac running Max OS X which has 800GB of data. And 2 Windows machine running XP with 400GB and 800GB of data. In all that's 3 big machines...
And I am getting a new iMac as well with 320GB hard disk running Leopard.
This is really lots of data to handle and sharing data between them is getting messy.
So my company provided me with a data server running Linux (i know its bad but they found it cheap).
So basically I am looking for a backup solution for all of my machines on the Linux server.
I have heard of Time Machine... but have no ideas if it would work on a network which has 2 Windows Machine and a Linux data server for backup storage.
Is there a solution to it... ??
Thanks in advance... And also sorry if I maybe posting in the wrong section.
