Not even sure I'm in the right forum, but any help is appreciated. I have; late 2012 iMac 27", Seagate Backup Plus 3TB, Seagate One Touch 2TB. I will try to make this as simple as I can, but weird issue, I'm sure. A backup from my Seagate Desktop Plus ended up on my desktop. The folder title is "2022-05-24-115004". My iMac HD is failing, a computer tech managed to make a backup of my Imac (2022-10-25....) including the May 24 backup on my desktop, so that folder is buried in the 2022-10-25 backup. All of my important files are in the 2022-05-24 folder. My question is; how can I get that folder back onto my Seagate (or any drive) and make it a viable backup once I get a new HD for my iMac? I know that when Seagate makes a backup, the folder structure is "Backups.backupdb". The 2022-05-24 folder is missing a "layer" or two of folders. Is this even possible without a "mirror folder?"
Again, any help is much appreciated, questions welcome.

It looks like that drive was used for Time Machine backups, "Backups.backupdb" is the name of the TM database. Can you use the Time Machine interface to go into the backup and restore the folder that you're looking for?
