backup in recovery

hello i have a jailbroken iphone 3gs and it crashed today not its stuck on the boot screen is there a way for me to back it up in recovery mode so i don't loose all of my stuff plz i am am desperate thank you in advance.

What stuff would you lose?

everything i have on my iphone due to itunes problems i was having on my old computer i had no backup. i will loose photos phone numbers songs music videos.

If your backup wasn't working and your iPhone stopped too then it sounds like you're out of options.

Contacts can be backed up via iCloud, pretty handy stuff.
