Hi all - I am planning to clean install Snow Leopard on a Tiger machine, and had a quick question about the backup. I used "SuperDuper!" to make a disk image of all the files in the User accounts on the Mac (I don't need to back up applications, only user data). Forgive me if this is a simple question: but after I install Snow Leopard (erasing the entire hard drive), can I take that image file (which I'm storing on an external drive), open it, and just restore all of the data into the new Snow Leopard installation? Will I need to recreate each user's individual account to access the data? Thanks so much!
