backup iphone without iTunes

i have a iphone 5 and i had a harddrive crash and lost my itunes library so now when i go to iTunes it wants to erase and sync, whats the best way to backup the stuff from the phone so i can reimport them after it erases

iCloud. Then "transfer purchases" when you fix your HD.
