iPod touch Backup issues

So here's the story: I have an iPhone that I hacked last week. My friend has a touch which I just hacked (through ZiPhone) for him. That worked fine but the issue I'm having is getting his music back onto it. I did it all on my computer and it is backed up on my computer. The jailbreak process went through fine but now I'm having a problem getting his music back on to it. Since I did it on my computer and not his, is he SOL? I wouldn't think so since it is just a backup and not syncing my library but I could be wrong
