Backup mail to gmail?

I read almost a year ago that I could archive my mobileme mail to Gmail so I could delete it from my mobileme and not loose it. I need the space on mobileme mail and my hard drive but I really dont want to loose these emails. Anyone know of a way to do this?

IDk. I have close to 33k emails I need to archive off site. None are spam, but they are all old and important. I keep them for 7 years, these types of emails.
