Ok so I have never used time machine before but im a little confused.. I know it backs up anything you want but does it restore your applications that are installed?

What I mean is.. if I chose to use time machine to back up my mbp now which has apps like photoshop, illustrator, cod4, halo, world of warcraft. When I re install leopard and use time machine does it put all these apps back on or would I have to install each one again?

Time Machine basically creates an updatable clone of your HD. Every file will be backed up and updated once modified. If your re-installing Leopard with Time Machine. Your system "should" look the same way once your all done.
