So I recently had to restore from a backup with my new iPhone 4 because my previous one cracked. I made sure before I handed over my cracked i4 to Apple that I synced and backed up. Now after getting my new phone I went to restore from my previous backup I made that day and it didn't give me that option. It only gave me options from selective dates, all being months apart from each other. So I ended up having to restore from a June 24 update, as that was the most recent choice available.

Anybody know why this was the most recent? I made sure that I backed up before handing my phone over, in hopes that I wouldn't face this problem. Is there a way I could restore to my most recent backup? I went to the backups folder on my Mac and they all had folders named with a bunch of random letters.

I've never had that happen to me... very strange. No errors or anything during the sync?
