Backup/Restore SMS, Photos whats the best app?

Hi there looking at DiskAid that has a function to backup and restore SMS, Photos, and more, i personally need to backup SMS and Photos and restore them, is this app good or is there anything better? iExplorer?

Right using Diskaid to restore messages i'm getting apple logo stuck and then blue screen and then restarts, so i'm guessing that failed, dam it. any other options on how to backup sms and photos?

the backup software is fine but what about restore, i'm guessing it's only possible with iTunes restore
