Using Super Duper to create a backup to a WD passport and the process stopped about 3/4 the way through (47 GB copied into a 100 GB partition). It's been about 40 minutes and nothing is happening now. I can hear the Imac's hard drive now and then but it's not copying files. Is a pause normal? Suggestions?
Thanks

Thanks Rupert. The "problem" fixed itself. Apparently I wasn't patient enough. After waiting a bit longer, I hit the cancel button and SuperDuper said in effect "I'm not done; sure you want to do that?" So I waited longer and it finished. I guess there are good reasons I'm still called a "newbie."
