I am using Apple Backup to back up two Macs. On the Mac for which the back up drive is local (an external Firewire drive), Backup works automatically on the assigned schedule if the back up volume is mounted, which it normally is if the drive is turned on. The Mac on the network (which also has to be registered with .Mac for Backup to process more than 100 Mb) also works on schedule, but the network volume it needs isn't normally mounted. I've created an alias for the required network volume on the remote Mac, but I was hoping to find some way to get Backup to mount this volume automatically when Backup is triggered by the schedule -- and better yet to unmount the drive when the job is completed. Is this possible?

Thanks!
