Backup to external HD

I have a PB & and PBC and I want to back up both volumes on a external hard drive, so if either of them go down the whole system can be put back ASAP. The simpler, the better. Can anyone suggest a decent HD (and size) and software?

Hey,

The software I use to backup my system is SuperDuper . As for the size of the HD, that really depends on how much you have to backup. I would recommend getting a Firewire external HD though, quicker transfer rates, and easy to boot off. Hope that helps a bit,
