I messed up my iTunes installation for some reason so decided to backup to iCloud before I get the 11 pro and then restore. I think I backed up too much data. If I delete the data, when does it get deleted from iCloud? When I plug in the phone for charging overnight?

Back it up now in Settings, your name, icloud, icloud backup, back up now. Otherwise it should backup when charging overnight. But why take the chance?
Ah I am dense. I didn’t realize back it up now can also update the current backup, taking out the items you deleted.
