I just thought of an interesting thing for iphone users who are having battery issues. Why not carry a good ole fashioned pre-paid AT&T go phone with you and just pop the sim card in it?
Is that a feasable solution, or is it too much work? I know that would mean you need to carry the sim ejector tool with you and take it out of your iphone and pop it into your other phone, but has anyone done this? Since I usually have my backpack with a charger, macbook pro, digital camera, sd card reader, etc i'm already carrying a bunch of bulk around, so it doesn't seem like too big of an issue to carry a fully charged spare phone in case my iphone dies.. Just an idea?
If this is a feasable option, is there an easy way to copy all the contacts to the sim card without having duplicates, i.e. can the iphone handle having the same contact in your sim as is already in the phone? I'm not fully versed on what the difference is between having contacts in the SIM card versus using the phone itself.
