Where I am
Do some of you not have any process for backing up your data, or Mac OS?

I posted in a thread about Time Machine the other day, and someone responded, alluding to never doing backups or using Time Machine. Hence, I was curious, if this was a 'common' thing.

Frankly, unless nothing on your computer is important to you, not having at least one backup is foolish. It's so easy/cheap to simply buy an external drive, activate Time Machine, and then just let it do its thing. Combine that with cloud-backups (e.g. iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Carbonite, etc.), and you have an even better backup system in case of a disaster such as both your system drive and backup drive failing at the same time or your computer burning in a fire.

Using TM with Big Sur, backing up to two external usb 3.1 2.5” SSD’s. No issues.
