so ive been having internet problems for 2 months now, and i thought it was my service provider. but after 3 replacment modems and 2 routers, i think the problem lies with the airport card in my macbook pro.

Heres my problem:
> really slow connection
>frequently dropped connection
>problems finding the wireless SSID

Its not the router or the modem because the two other people on the same network have no problem at all.

so could a faulty airport card be my problem?

I live in a 2 floor house. my router is only 15 feet from my MBP and theres only a thin door separating it.

Its a dual band N router so I don't think theres any problem with it because my parents computer has full bars 30 feet away on a different floor.
