The battery life on my iPhone is great. I get about 6 hours or more of use between talking and edge (very little wifi) and about 3 days of Standby.

The only thing is that once my battery indicator goes less than halfway, its depletes rapidly. Once I hit 20% it gets to 10 % within an hour of standby and from 10% to 0 within 30 minutes.

Is there any reason why this is happening?

Like I said, the total time is great, but the indicator meter appears to be incorrect.

Rebooted the phone lately? My meter said 100% for an entire day once. Upon reboot, I was in the red. The battery meter, like many other things on the phone, is subject to glitches that a reboot can often fix, if temporarily.

Barring that, a restore is the next level.
