iPhone 7/Plus Bad cellular reception on tmobile for both se and 7+

Running 12.1.4 on both devices, can only get 2 bars of regular cellular signal and 2 bars of while LTE is on as well. Speed test has me averaging about 30 Mbps download speed, 5 Mbps upload speed on lte. To note, I have the a1662 and the a1784 models.

Is this a tmobile issue or an ios issue? I will go into tmobile and ask them tomorrow, but my coverage map for my area (South Florida) indicates "excellent" coverage for Tmobile, so im not sure what the issue is.

Well, I have an ancient motorola phone (I think one of the original moto e phones). I put my sim card into that and had better reception than either iphone! Tomorrow in the Tmobile store I'll ask them if I can put my sim into any of their phones, especially if they have a 7 plus as a display model.
