Hi All, so I realized after the fact that a 64gb 4s I bought on Craigslist has a bad ESN (Verizon). I looked up the serial # at apple's site and saw that it is covered under Applecare until March 2013, but only now looked up the ESN (actually mistakenly thought it was a GSM phone at purchase, because guy I bought it from said he'd been using it on T-Mobile, so didn't think to check ESN right away).

As I understand it, there is no way to remove a bad ESN, but my question is can I still get it replaced/supported by the Applecare attached to the phone?
