Bad Font warning in Preview

I wonder if anyone can help us on this.

We are thinking of purchasing a server component for one of our customers to dynamically generate PDFs with barcodes from a web application. The problem is that the PDFs that are generated seem to trigger Bad Font warnings from Prievew. I have contacted the company but they seem a little foxed by the issue... I would be interested to see what you all make of it...
