I went outside with my MacBook for a few hours. Now it has very bad ghosting that won't go away (It's been 4 hours since I've went outside with it).

Should I return it? Send it in for repair? Or is the display not damaged at all?

MacBook Pro screens have quite noticeable ghosting under some conditions, worse than most other premium laptop screens. You probably didn't notice it before you turned the brightness up, which makes it more noticeable. But it's highly unlikely taking it outside made it any worse, apart from turning the brightness up.

If you think yours is abnormally bad, try to compare to another one.
