iPod touch Bad home button

I have a 1st gen touch that I use sometimes when my 2nd gen is dead. I got it out to sync some music, and I noticed the home button has fallen deeply into the hole, and will not click at all. I've tried to shake it, and push hard but it does nothing. Really upset because this is a launch day purchase and has been with me through a lot. Anyone know what to do?

There is a alternative to the home button in settings were you can tap the screen 3 times to activate the screen

Not on iPhone OS 3, that feature came years later

I don't get what you're trying to say... there is no such feature available on an iPod touch 1st gen as it cannot run past iPhone OS 3

Well the feature that you talk about was introduced with iOS 5, which means it will not work on the first gen touch

I already have a touch 4, the problem is the sound quality of the touch 4 is far inferior to the 1st gen
