Hi all,

Wondering if anybody could help me, I seem to have messed up permissions all around me.

Here's some background; ages ago I installed OS X Lion Dev on my 2009 MBP, then a few months later I got a brand new 2011 MBP, at that time lots of people were having problems with Lion and the new MBPS so I left Snow Leopard on it & moved all my files back over. - Then later I created a new partition to go back to Lion, I moved most of my files from Snow Leopard to Lion, then when Lion was released, moved all my files over and deleted the SL partiton.

--

Now a lot of the old files have screwed up permissions, it asks me for my password if I want to delete a file, or if I go to move it, it'll make a copy or ask for my password......
I also use Dropbox a lot, and it's really messing up.

There's too many files to do it manually, and if I click the menu on the get info window to change all enclosed files, it doesn't make any difference...

With the new Versions thing on iWork and Preview, it won't let me change them because I don't have permission.

See my problem! - attached below is a picture of the permissions.

Some files have two 'everyone' - some don't. - it's bugging me now, I feel as if I'm in too deep to pull out now. [George Strait song reference there for any Country fans..!]

Any help would be super! Thanks!

(I think this is in the correct area?)
