I updated my iPad to iPadOS 16 Beta 3 and my iPhone to iOS 16 Beta 3. Airdrop works between iPad and iPhone. But Airdrop no longer works between iPad or iPhone and my iMac which is running Mojave.
Oh no.
I am one of those Mojave users.
I love it, and can't part with it on my IT MacBook Pro, Which has tons of little IT scripts and apps I run that are often 32-bit.
This sucks,
I hope it's just a bug and they fix it. Why else would Airdrop be disabled? For security reasons? If thats the case, then Apple should release a Security Update 006 update for Mojave.

I hope it gets fixed for you as well, but I would not be surprised for Apple to drop it and then make some claim that you need a more powerful iPad or Laptop in order to use these features. It is the Apple way now, think different.

We'll see, OP can report back here later, If it is fixed or updated either way.
It's surely not a technical incompatibility at this point, Thinking different.
I hate to be one of those guys, but if Steve Jobs was around I'm sure we'd see more Mojave updates, Or 32-bit on Catalina
I'm running Mojave and Catalina on 2 Retina's.
Will be acquiring a M2 Air when its a little more 'revised', Ideally. I am looking forward to it.
