I just got off the phone with my hook at UPS. She’s in the warehouse. She tracked mine that says it’s sitting in china and indeed they probably won’t be here tomorrow due to a weather delay the other day.

Sucks. Never happened before.

There is no problem with scans it’s just a weather issue.

Thank goodness you have a hookup to let us know

Just got off the phone with another department and they said I should open an investigation because this is not a normal process of scanning. He did confirm about the weather problem as well.

I know some of you are laughing but mark my words that the packages that still show china will not be here tomorrow.

We have no control with mother nature. Therefore hopefully you get it no later than Monday. In the end its just a phone. You will get it. Don't waste your time or calling or opening an investigation. Nobody gets investigated in UPS/FEDEX.

lol ! I’m not trying to stir the pot but my source is very reliable and the other department I called said the same thing. Unless it skipped a scan, I’m thinking Monday.

I am sorry to hear this. I would be frantic if I experienced this as I love to have the phone on the launch day. If you do still want to get your phone on the launch day, you can try looking at Apple Store app to see if they have your phone configuration available for pick-up. Then, if it is available, you can get that one and return the late one whenever it arrives within 14 days of receipt. This is assuming you are not in Apple Upgrade Program. I’d you are, you may need to wait the phone until it arrives.

Thanks for info. My tracking is saying that number can’t be found. Still saying delivery is tomorrow. I thought it was odd it wasn’t further along. If it delivers next week I’m ok with that except I have to be here I believe and next week is crazy busy. I guess we’ll see. With all the disappointment of a late delivery I think Apple should do something for the delay.

I don't know. I just tracked my delivery for tomorrow and it left China on 9/17 and is in Louisville right now.

Several people in the main thread have posted updates this morning that show their phones going straight from ZhengZhou to Import scan in KY.

So, there are _known_ issues with scans.

Here is but one example: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...very-status-thread-2023.2401167/post-32523863

And another: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...very-status-thread-2023.2401167/post-32524038

And guess what? It took me mere seconds to find those. Do you want a lesson on how to find information on the Internet?

My phone is in California now and will be delivered to me in Washington tomorrow. Very excited. Right on time.

This happens every year. It can be in China on Thursday and still out for delivery by Friday.

Mine shows in Louisville KY, their hub, right now. Scanned all along the way successfully from China to Louisville this morning at 905a eastern. Doesn’t look like it’s impacting all Friday deliveries.

Sometime I wonder if people only get stuff shipped to their house 1-2 times a year. I get over 200 packages a year to my house. I’ve gotten packages that never got scanned show up. On time. After it was delivered it is then that all scans showed on tracking info. Patience is very important.

Sure, but at the same time I receive shipments late frequently.

Has never happened to me with a single launch-day iPhone order, though.

Agree that OP is full of it though, as exhibited by the examples I posted of scans going straight from China to SDF.

Pretty sure any iPhones scheduled for delivery (at least here in USA) on launch day (tomorrow 9/22) left China days ago.

I am sure mine is already at the Apple Store, waiting to be picked up tomorrow ✊🏼 hopefully, as I am leaving for Israel on Saturday lol
Yep, those who did for in store pick up, they are already at the apple store already. Tonight is when we should start getting the ready for pick up email.

I once had an iPad delivery scan through FedEx completely out of order and the tracking made it look like it was jumping all over the world every day until it got to my house--which was actually the day promised originally. :)

I don't start getting excited until I get the notification from UPS that my actual driver is a few stops away. Until I have that little box in my hands, it's not a guarantee.
