Hey guys got a mid-2010 13" mbp 7,1 wanted to upgrade the ram so I got a set of Corsair CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9 from amazon. I install it and when I booted it up it will freeze on the apple screen. So I return it to amazon and got a new pair, install the new set same thing. Is that not the right RAM for my module I thought It was compatible with my mbp. I install it on a mid-2011 15" mbp and it worked fine. Should I get different series of RAM?

how much RAM is it? are you exceeding the max your 2010 can handle?

I have 4gb right now 2x2 trying to put two 4gb. I thought it can handle the 1333 and it will run down to 1066? Is that the problem that this is 1333? I ran one stick with one of my old ones and it works fine.
