Bad situation - No Service

Hello everybody!

I am very new to iPhone, one week of jailbreaking and unlocking, but no results.
I'm from Latvia and I get iPhone from England, the phone is locked.
First it had iOS 5.0.1 and modem 06.15.00 and old bootroom, but I couldn't unlock it to our Carrier (With Ultrasn0w).

I have saved SHSH for iOS 4.1 and 4.3.3, of course I downgraded to these versions, but still I got "No Service". In Settings-General-About I see may Carrier (LMT 8.0). iPhone works fine, I can play games, use WiFi and GPS but can't call and send SMS.

Can someone recommend what to do?

Download redsn0w and try to re-do the iPad baseband flash. I've seen this happen a couple times but not sure exactly what causes it.

If that doesn't work, you could very likely have a hardware issue.
