Hi,

I've had an iphone 6 since early December. In early February I got a replacement iPhone due to a faulty sleep button.

In all the time I had the first iphone 6, touch id worked flawlessly. But with this phone it fails very very often. I'm not sure what is wrong. I made sure hte sensor was very clean using glass wipes but still fails often.

Do you guys have any tricks or issues similar to mine?

thanks.

Mine fails every once in a while if my hands are a little wet or sweaty, but otherwise, the fail rate is very low. Have you tried erasing all your recorded fingerprints on the phone and doing them over again?

I have. However why did my previous phone had no issues with my fingers?
I can assure you my "sweating" patterns haven't changed :D

Well maybe you do have faulty hardware then. Or it could be a software glitch. Who knows?

I have the exact same problem. The first phone I had, the Touch ID was great. I had it replaced for a screen problem, the new one has a terrible touch ID sensor. I'm thinking about calling apple.
Just don't reall want another replacement.
