Badge issue with themes under 5.0.1

I've noticed notification badges are different under 5.0.1 when using winterboard themes. Here's an example. Notice the red ovals:

Is this a known issue?

I'm having the same exact issue. Haven't found a solution yet but I will let you know if I do.

Hmm that's odd. My same suave theme that I used on iOS 4 worked fine, at least in terms of badges, on iOS 5.

I had a similar issue with my 3Gs when I upgraded to 5.0.1. The solution was to resize the badge icon file from retina to non-retina. The retina file worked fine on 4.1, even though my device is non-retina. Also the badge file name should be SBBadge.BG.png. Hope that helps.
