We've used our lexmark e120n for 3 years with our macbook and G4 desktop. About 4 months ago, it stopped and 2 warning lights showed permanently on the printer-the toner light and the error light. After long conversations with both Lexmark UK and Lexmark France-we live in France they asked me to send it to Lexmark France for repair. It came back after 1 week and when I plugged it in, the same 2 lights showed. They sent a technician who changed 2 parts but still couldn't get it to work. He returned today with a brand new printer from Lexmark. He set that up and the same 2 lights were on!!!

He thought it must be the cable but we tried a new one and that still didn't help. He then tried to set up the old printer on our PC and still no change.

After he'd gone we re-installed the drivers-still no change

He is completely baffled and so are 2 friends who both work in computer installation.

Any ideas
