Hi all

Just wondering if in your experience, would the MBA bend easily if transported in a messenger bag of sorts? The reason I ask is because generally messenger bags sort of rest on your hip and if the laptop is right on your hip is there a good chance it could bend, or am I just being over cautious?

Thanks

I use a messenger bag with my M2 MacBook Air all the time. I use a padded sleeve but a lot of bags have padded compartments for notebooks. I'm not worried about damaging the MBA, it is very sturdy and the sleeve heavily padded.

Yeah I have a faux leather sleeve for mine which I will keep it in whilst in the bag. Tbh I feel the M2 Air does feel solid enough so I doubt it would bend easily, just wanted to see if anyone had any sort of bad experience before I bought the bag, the alternative is just carrying it in its sleeve in hand but that can be quite annoying.

I haven’t had any bad experiences, and I carry it around a lot in a bag. BUT I am very careful not to put any force on it. It won’t bend from normal activity, but I can see it bending if you sit on it for example. Or someone slams hard into you.
