Gonna pick up in a few days a G4 1.0 DP tower (mirror doors version)

dual 1GHz CPU and what he thinks is a 22 inch crystal cinema display.

I know it's old and bit limited but I like look of it and I did like playing with 10.4 on my old G4 ibook.

costing my £40 for the lot.

Unknown ram etc but was the guys grans machine.

Having clear out as she moving into care home.

Sadly I did not get this in end.
Was going collect it on sunday but saturday someone slashed my car tyre!

£70 for tyre as need car for work so contacted seller who had another party interested anyway.
Would have been nice but grrr could do without the hassle of new tyre.

Had get wheel off and take to garage as they do not do call outs.

I have now discovered that the spare is not same as the wheels on the car.
Spare is original 15" but car has 17" fitted.

And where is the problem with that? Unless you have some oversized aftermarket brakes mounted it's absolutly o.k. to drive that way (at limited speed). Many cars only have an even smaller emergency wheel.

only 1.5% difference in rolling circumference but different wheel nuts!

the car tool kit don't fit!

Car left factory with 15" (as in the boot) last owner fitted aftermarket 17" alloys.

@Hater
If the rolling diameter was that different it would make the 17" illegal to drive on that car.

@elf69
Yeah 17 vs 19mm hex, quite common when installing aftermarket alloys.

The silver lining to this is you discovered it when it was more convenient to address the problem as opposed to being on the side of the road.
