Yes, I've waded through the super long thread on cases, sleeves, bags, etc., but I can't easily find info I'm looking for.

I need to get a carrying bag for my new 13" MBA. Here's my ideal set up:

- A built-in, highly protective sleeve (sleeve doesn't have to be removable). By highly protective, I mean its got like neoprene + plastic or something like that, built for snug fit around the MBA.
- Reasonably compact & light
- Reasonably priced - hopefully around $50 or less.
- I like messenger style with flap, but doesn't have to be.

What I have in mind in terms of protection is similar to what Waterfield offers in their CitySlicker or SmartCase - but here's why I can't go with those: I can't afford the CitySlicker, plus it is little more than a sleeve with pockets. I need more of a bag. The SmartCase looks good except the vertical orientation would bother me in a horizontal bag - I just want to be able to reach into the bag and pull out the laptop without having to take out the sleeve and then remove the laptop, etc. Plus, the SmartCase and bag combo is, again, getting pricey.

Any recommendations?
