Anyone here tried the Ballistix Sport LT 2666 (BLS2K16G4S26BFSD) able to confirm it runs at 2666 instead of 2400 on the 2017 27” iMac?

On the spec page, it does say speeds start at 2400.

The slightly cheaper Crucial counterpart (CT2K16G4SFD8266) seem to able to do 2666 per the Mac Mini threads but spec also say speed starts at 2133.

Any recommendations?

Are you saying the iMac can run at 2666MHz not just 2400MHz? As opposed to the iMac Pro...
I’ve got a 5k iMac 2017 i7 with stock 2x4GB memory in plus extra specified 2x8GB OWC memory in. It all runs at 2400MHz. If you are planning to keep the stock memory in I doubt that will go beyond 2400MHz even if the memory controller let you (which I’m guessing it wont).
Edit: I'll get my coat... so assume you're junking the stock memory then and trying to replicate something like the below???

Yeah planning to ditch the stock RAM, the 2017 iMac will take 2666Mhz rams, just checking if the Ballistix are native/compatible.
