hi there,

my 15" mbp 2.5 none uni body, has developed a white band vertically on the left side of the screen. Its not a constant white line, it breaks up at times on the way up- tried changing the desktop picture, but the line stays. Also lately my desktop icons will disappear and will only show up if i hook my laptop back to an external monitor.

is this a known issue, related to the faulty vid cards?
