Hello,
I currently own a MacBook Pro 10.5.8 (The non black keyboard).
I installed a boot camp, running Windows 7-32bit and all the drivers function perfectly fine. nVidia control panel / audio / wireless ... etc all works fine.
It seems though something is keeping my Macbook Pro to constantly download something.. I have discovered that it is my Macbook Pro's fault for going over our monthly bandwidth we have here, which is 60Gbs per month. With my Macbook Pro off, the average usage is around 5~15 Gbs. With my Macbook Pro On, it goes beyond 60Gbs.
I turned off Windows auto update / nVidia's auto update / Adobe Auto update. Yet, it seems its still causing this bandwidth issue.
Relating to this, when I play a game called Counter Strike, it seems to spike and lag me throughout the game. There's an option within the game called net_graph, which shows your connection status (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b61/IwestyI/netgraph-1.jpg). The chart for me spikes up to a point where my ping goes from 18 to 400...
This ONLY happens on my MacbookPro and not on my desktop.
Anyone know why this is happening? I am almost certain that it is not my Internet's fault but rather my Laptop..
Thank you in advance.
