Barcode scanner and inventory tracking

Hi all.

I run a business and I am looking for a barcode scanner (can be an ios app or a handheld unit) and inventory software.

Ideally, I would like to be able to scan a barcode of a product as it comes in, and have the inventory software on my macbook update. Same for scanning a product out when I ship it.

In a perfect world, since I have two locations, I would have two scanners, and the software would track what products are coming and going from what locations. Cloud based or something like that. Both locations have their own laptops, so both would need their own scanner, but the two aren't networked together, hence the cloud request

I am willing to invest for the right features, but there is a limit.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am not quite familar with barcode scanner, especially for Mac system. But this post may offer some help for you.

I am not quite sure whether this barcode scanner will solve your problem. You can have a try. It is free of charge and detailed turorial is provided. I have used it almost one year ago and I succeeded.
