not surprising that the CPU bound tasks suffered more on the MBA vs. the i5 MBP.

The 13" MBA is holding its own against the 13" MBP but other benchmarks have already born that out.

I've been holding out for an i5 based 13" MBP because the i5 is superior and I don't want to spend > 1,500 dollars on 2008 technology
