Hi!

I'm the developer of the BarrierGame, which is an engaging flow-inducing minimalistic intelligent-arcade game where you control two sliding doors of a large barrier so as to let the "good" squares through and keep the "bad" ones out.

I think BarrierGame has quite a distinct look and feel and gameplay, as I have specifically tuned it to fit my own taste (to which most of the existing mobile games feel somehow slightly annoying for some reason or another), and, thus, it tends to differ in various small details from the typical mobile games. I hope there are sufficiently many other people, too, who will find such a slightly eccentric game enjoyable. :)

BarrierGame works great on both iPhone and iPad. At first I thought that to make a nice iPad version of the game I'd just take the iPhone layout and expand it to fill the iPad screen, but it turned out that this didn't result in such a good gameplay experience and visual movement smoothness that I expect from my games, so I actually created a special layout for iPad where the main game arena is in the middle and is the same as in the iPhone version, but most of the buttons are extended to the edges of the iPad, so that you can hold your iPad with two hands and conveniently control the action with thumbs.

I'd be happy to hear your feedback, as I'm quite curious about what people think and feel about that game.

The website of the game is at http://barriergameapp.com/
