London
I have to admit I'm not a very good Londoner. I've lived in the suburbs for 3 years now and I've never been to Shoreditch/Brick Lane. I'm also terrible at knowing any decent places to go.

This is going to change tomorrow, I'm going out with a group of (Non-London) friends. For the lack of any other knowledge, and knowing that the area I mentioned is supposed to be interesting it's been decided that we're going there.

This is where you come in to make me and my girlfriend look like london geniuses. What are some good bars/pubs/clubs in the area? I saw a new place called the Queen of Hoxton mentioned in a London paper, which looks like it could be interesting. Are there any others we should hit or miss?

Have you tried What's On guide? (there's an app for london clubs and pubs, but you're better off as you're doing getting personal recommendations or recent reviews)
If you're near Brick Lane - would be amiss not to have a curry? :)
