Hi there, I'm new to the forum. I've been reading a lot about the new MacBook Air, and I finally decided to take the plunge and buy one yesterday. I've been wanting the Air since it was first introduced. I always thought it was a slick computer, but the price tag just wasn't what I wanted to spend. A little history on my Apple products- I started out with a While MacBook, and then upgraded to a MacBook Pro. I used each as my primary computer. Then I bought a 21in iMac for my fiance. I also owned the iPhone, and made the mistake of selling the 3GS and not getting the 4. So I got the bright idea of sharing the iMac, and getting an iPad to use instead of my Pro. Which was fine, until I broke down and got myself the iPhone 4 a couple of weeks ago. I liked the iPad just fine, but having to go on the iMac to access basic files or pictures or filling out forms was not. The the new Air dropped, and all bets were off. I realized my mistake, or line of mistakes anyway, and sold the iPad. I knew I wanted the 11.6 Air, and after reading the 2gb vs 4gb debate I decided to go with the base model. it's going to be a secondary computer for me, so I don't need to carry my whole life on it.

My question, though, is if I made the right choice as far as space goes. I'm thinking the 64GB may not be enough. I was going to move all my stuff from the iMac to the Air and then sort out what I wanted on there vs. what I didn't. And I didn't have enough space to move everything, which leaves me in the position of having to pick and choose what I want on the Air. I mainly surf the web, go on Facebook, read blogs and forums and stuff. I fill out resumes pretty regularly because I'm searching for a job once my seasonal one ends. I'm just worried if the 64GB is going to be enough space, not just for now, but down the line. I have a Dropbox account, and I know I can share across the two computers. I'm wondering if I want to take it back and shell out the extra $200 for more on board storage, or if I can get away with learning how to keep my information that I'd want to access in a cloud storage system. Also, can I use an external hard drive to store my information and just plug it into the Air? Like photos, music, my resume, things like that?

I know this is a long post for a first timer, I just want to make sure I made the right choice while I have the time to possibly exchange the Air.
