Base 15" mbp worth it?

i have a unibody macbook 2.4ghz, i was wondering if i should get a refurbed 15" with either the new battery or with the dual gfx cards or i have a friend thats selling his 1 month old base mbp 15" for $1100. i can sell my macbook for around $1000.

I would pay the $100 difference for the 15" MBP from your friend, but it depends what you want to use it for. If you really need the graphics performance, you should get the dual gfx MBP.
