Can the base pro with the 9600m GT w/256mb play:

-Team Fortress 2
-Left 4 Dead
-Call of Duty:WaW

...at native resolution with med/high settings at respectable rates? I'm not an AA/AF type. I never turn those on.

i play all those,

using base mbp. but i have added a 2gb stick to make it 3gb

Ah, good point. I will eventually upgrade to 4 in the near future if I decide to buy it.

I have the base MBP upgraded to 4GB of RAM.

I can play TF2 on all High settings with just the 9400M. The 9600M will be able to handle those games easily.
