Base Model 15" 2011, 6490m enough for non gamer?

Title says it all. I will not be playing any games whatsoever on the machine. I will be using it solely for audio work. Will I really notice the difference if I am not playing games?
I would rather not spend an extra $400.00 for the high end 15" if I will not notice a difference with the applications I will be using it for.

Please advise!

Thanks for the assurance on the matter, Ishirase. It is appreciated. I just started coming across a lot of posts on here about how the 6490m is not all that great, and started to get a little worried. I guess it's mainly hard core gamers who are the most affected by the specs of the GPU.

Even the Intel HD 3000 graphics would be enough for your needs. Unless you are playing games it doesn't matter.
