Base Model Capabilities

Hi Forum,

I'm going to buy an iMac. Since I am on a budget, I was wondering if anyone could inform me on the base model's capabilities. I'm looking to play a game, let's say minecraft, while I talk to friend, let's say on Skype, while using recording software, let's say fraps.

Will the base model be OK is doing this? Can anyone make a guess or comment on that based on the specs?

Yes a base model iMac can easily do those items, none are really taxing to any computer.
