iPhone 16/Plus Base model Fusion 2x zoom

Can someone review or comment on the 2x zoom on iPhone 16 (not pro) = with video quality? Does it downsize 4k to 1080p video when using 2x telephoto lens (which is supposedly optical zoom)? Does the camera app actually show a 2x option when shooting video? If you can post an actual video, that'll be really nice as well! Thx

It does show the 2x and it lets you change between 1x and 2x mid video.

Mind taking a quick outdoor video to show resolution at 1x and 2x? upload to Imgur is free (no registration) - would really appreciate it! I can't find one video review on this on YouTube and the nearest store is 2 hours away from me in another city - thx
