I tried searching through the forums but haven't been able to find what I was looking for.

I could have sworn that someone on this board had said that Apple had listed 8GB as the limit for the quad-core nehalem, but it could, in fact, take up to 12 or something. Am I just imagining this?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It has been posted MULTIPLE times and places that it can handle 16 just fine...

Ok, thanks. And I spent a good amount of time last night mroogling 'quad nehalem ram' and variations thereof. I went through a good amount of threads, but couldn't find my answer.
