"Base System Device" driver

I recently installed Windows on my 2008 Mac Pro (Quad Penryn). In the Device Manager, a driver is missing for "Base System Device". I scoured the Mac OSX install disk but the driver could not be found. Any idea what this is? I'm running Bootcamp 2.0.
