im new to MacRumors so im sure this topic has already been covered but i need some info. i just updated to 5.0.1 and jailbroke with redsn0w. i hadnt previously read about this baseband so now im stuck with not being able to unlock! is there any way around this issue other than upgrading to the ipad baseband 6.15.00? should an unlock be coming out soon? anyone know? thanks!

Don't hold you breath for this. IMO, I don't think it will come out at all. So, you know your only option if you want to unlock your phone.
